The process is easy and confidential.

On your admission to our clinic for treatment, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome. Admissions need to be pre-booked but, on most occasions, we can accommodate a new admission within 24 hours of making the booking.

Referrals can be accepted from the client themselves, family, friends, and health professionals. Once the booking is confirmed, we will ensure that our team are ready to receive you.

On arriving at out clinic, you will be introduced to the clinical team and shown around so that you can familiarise yourself with the layout of the facility. You will be provided with a welcome pack that will explain all you need to know about your stay with us at the Sanctuary Lodge, along with a timetable of therapy sessions.

If you are unable to travel to our clinic by yourself, please contact us.

See our what to bring section for more details.

Upon admission - Your first 24 hours

During your first 24 hours with us, we will arrange for you to see our detox specialist psychiatrist. Here, a full assessment will be carried out of your medical and psychological treatment needs. If required, a full detox regimen will be prescribed.  The detox will then be administered and monitored under strict protocol by our medical health professionals. Please remember that you need to bring any medications that you may have been taking, as well as giving us details of your doctor’s surgery. The psychiatrist will make recommendations and highlight any areas of your treatment that require specialist attention. It is important to us that all of your treatment needs are met during your stay, therefore we will ensure that anything highlighted or recommended is then incorporated into your bespoke treatment plan. Your treatment plan will then be continually reviewed by our counsellors, clinical director and medical staff, ensuring that you are receiving the best care possible at all times.

Once your assessment has been completed, our friendly staff will then help you settle in. We fully understand that this is a very fearful and stressful time for most, but our staff are on hand to offer reassurance and advice at all times.

A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.
