Grace Elliott

Grace joined Sanctuary Lodge in June. Her role as Administrator means Grace helps organise a lot of behind the scenes, and pre- and post-treatment tasks, helping Sanctuary Lodge run smoothly.

After graduating from the International School of Monaco, Grace attended the Michael Angelo language school in Florence, where she became fluent in French and Italian, she also speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

On returning to Essex – where she was born – her attention was drawn to the field of personal development. Recovery from addiction has become her main focus, partly due to her personal knowledge and experience with 12-step programs. Red Bridge County Council invited her to work on their team in the community helping local people with addiction problems and during this time she qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Mentoring, and gained knowledge working in the addiciton field.

Grace says: “I am passionate about working in the field of addiction and helping others achieve sobriety and my personal experience allows me to gain empathy and rapport with others. My vision is to acquire more skills in order to assist as many people as possible to discover hope and recovery from the tyranny of addictions.”
