Jenna's degree in Psychology started her on her journey working with challenging behaviour and thinking processes. She has been working in the field of Psychology during the last 18 years, ever since graduating from De Montfort University's Human Psychology programme. Jenna's interest in addiction assistance and counselling became evident around 2008, when she finalised her Certificate in the Management of Drug Misuse, provided by the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Ever since, she has been focused on helping those suffering from an addiction, as well as from different mental health conditions, heal. Her Mindfulness diploma by the Centre of Excellence is an existential part of her formation as a professional. Jenna's always focused on learning how to support those who need therapy, as well as being there for the ones who cannot get back in control by their own means. This is why she has widened her understanding of the human mind through the Integrated Advanced Professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy CP, awarded by Chrysalis and accredited through the National Counselling Society and Royal College of Nursing.

“A fundamental issue I have learned through personal life and my years of experience are client’s issues or diagnosis are often fuelled or based on a subjective lack of understanding of their own emotions.”

Jenna actively believes this and it underpins her daily ethos when working within the substance misuse field.
